Great site! It's amazing how many authentic locations where used during the production of Twin Peaks. There's a number of sets of which I had always thought that they where build in a studio. It's quite amazing to see that locations like the Great Northern interior actually exist.
i am writing this from my hotel room in seattle. i visited the kiana lodge today (something my wife and i wanted to do for 15 years). after visiting, we had numerous questions regarding which scenes were shot where, etc. your site helped answer them all.
tomorrow we head to the snoqualmie area and will definitely be using your site as a guide.
thanks for your hard work and devotion. your site is awesome.
Just discovered your site and the photos are very very touching. Can't really define how much it means to me to see the TP locations. Thank you very very much for your efforts....
Twin Peaks is a real place -- and you've confirmed it.
This is a very nice job ! It's a shame that the pictures are so small. I'm from France and I will probably never see Twin Peaks in real life... :( Thanks for this website and for keeping Twin Peaks spirit alive.
Very beautiful site and very beautiful photographies! I'm a Italian fans of twin Peaks ... My dream would be to visit these wonderful places...Let's Rock! Agostina
Amazing. I don't know what to say. I have always thought I wanted to do that, but I never would have actually done it. I can't believe you found all those locations! Like, Shelly and Leo's house.
Absolutely fantastic, you are they envy of every Twin Peaks fan who is unable to visit Snoqualmie and surrounding areas. I will make it there one day, but for now, thank you for your wonderful photographs and updates on how the world of "Twin Peaks" continues to move on. You are an inspiration to us all. Some of your friends are here.
iibeautiful!! it makes me want to go there..i just got the twin peaks box set for my b-day,and was,in fact, just watching the 1st episode again last nite..please don't let it end...
A damn fine website! I'm giving you the thumbs up signal! I live only a couple of hours away from Snoqualmie, and I've been a Twin Peaks fan for quite a while, and yet I still have to see my first owl sitting in a Douglas Fir over there. It looks like it's time for me to put on my leather coat, climb on my Harley, ditch Donna (yet again), and ride at midnight to the corner of Sparkwood and Hwy 21.
Absolutely fantastic site. I've always been a fan of Twin Peaks and always wondered where excactly they filmet id. The photos and background information you provided are highly informative and I'll make sure to visit these places, should I ever be in that area. Keep up the great work!
very nice, twin peaks moves. its fantastic how most locations stayed the same. its seems to be a mystic place, foggy, druggy and just cool. i love the mood of twin peaks with the music.
As a big fan of the show I've loved seeing the 'before and after' pictures...but, best of all I like thinking about all the fun you've had doing this. Isn't it a shame more folks don't 'follow their hearts' like this?
Great to see your photos, they make me reminisce for that time so long ago now. Have just watched the show again after 18 years! Good to know there are so many other fans out there who still love the show. And congrat's to you for sharing your fascination with us.
I'm back from California with photos of over 30 series locations! For a sneak preview of what's to come this Summer, click HERE.
about the website
I've been captivated by the world of Twin Peaks since it first aired in 1990. In recent years, I've traveled to Washington State and photographed as many of the series' filming locations as I've been able to find. For the most part, I've tried to stick to locations that were shot for the pilot, as I feel that they're likely to be closest to the original vision of Twin Peaks.Underneath each still from the show is one of my photographs from the very same filming location. For additional information about each location, click on the "MORE..." link at the bottom of each post.I hope you enjoy this tour.

Thank you so much for this, this has been the most interesting thing to see.
I recently re-discovered the series (I was too young when it first aired) and it's brilliance.
The town still seems super creepy. :)
