07-13-10 ROAD AND BRIDGE FROM THE PILOT! SNOQUALMIE, WA

06-15-10 OMG SHERILYN FENN WON'T BE AT THIS YEAR'S TWIN PEAKS FEST!!!

2010 TWIN PEAKS FEST AND PILOT SCREENING IN SEATTLE!
This is a very special year, folks. It's the 20th Anniversary of our favorite thing ever, Twin Peaks! What better way to celebrate our undying love of that small town than by attending this year's festival in the Snoqualmie Valley, the real Twin Peaks?! The line-up at this year's fest is uh-may-zing, with celebrity guests: Kimmy Robertson, Charlotte Stewart, Michael J. Anderson and Jennifer Lynch. Also, catch a screening of the pilot (ON FILM!) during the fest's movie night at the Seattle Art Museum! OMFG, have I died and gone to pie heaven!? Click photos below for details!

05-15-10 PALMER AND HAYWARD HOUSES, RIGHT NOW.
Made a quick run to the Palmer house (exterior from FWWM) and the Hayward house to snap some current photos. Palmer house is exactly the same. The Hayward house owners had the misfortune of loosing those two giant old trees that were out on the sidewalk. The trees used to nicely shade the house. Sad. There are two new saplings in their place, so that's good. I love these houses!

5-12-10 LAURA AND BOBBY'S DRUG DEAL SPOT
Drove out to Ollalie State Park where they filmed Laura and Bobby's drug deal, Laura giving the finger to James, Deer Meadow and Theresa Banks' body floating scenes for FWWM. Finally found exactly where they shot the Laura and Bobby scene. Psyched. Man, it's such a beautiful park. I gotta go back on a day that's not so sunny and get the perfect angle –and before those stumps completely rot! Anyway, more info on this spot HERE

04-27-10 HYDROPONICS, PAINT JOBS AND A BLUE DIAMOND BIKE! A DAY IN TWIN PEAKS.
Okay I'll start where I started... Drove into Fall City to have a look at Big Ed's. Its most recent incarnation: A hydroponic plant and lighting shop. Uh, random. Walked next door to check out the Hurley house and saw that it got a nice new paint job. Stared into the open window for a bit until I started to feel like a creep. Took a few pictures. Left.

Headed over to the Briggs' house (which has a giant wooden fence around it) and snuck this photo of the side yard/entry. I actually knocked on the door to ask, but no one was home. Anyway, there was a car in the driveway with military bumper stickers and paraphernalia galore, plus there were military stickers stuck on some of the house windows. Very Briggs-ish.

Ate breakfast at the recently renovated and reopened Roadhouse. Tomato, chipotle benedict. Delish! Went over to the Mt. Si Motel (a.k.a. Blue Diamond Motel) and asked if I could buy the bike that was in the shot behind Theresa Banks in FWWM. It's been there for nearly 20 years! The awesome owners, Marlo (mom) and Sonya(daughter) agreed to sell me the bike. How awesome is THAT!?

That's me up there on the bike. Then I drove over to Wind River and took a nice walk in the woods. Here's a pic of the water you see in the Cooper scene in FWWM, followed by a shot of the Wind River Sheriff's Station.

04-09-10 SPRING HAS SPRUNG IN TWIN PEAKS!

04-08-10 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TWIN PEAKS!
Check out Jerry Horne's generous and AMAZING unreleased Twin Peaks music over at the TWIN PEAKS ARCHIVE!

03-30-10 FBI OFFICES FROM FWWM FOUND!...well, sort of.

Click HERE for more photos and info!

03-26-10 So, I know I haven't updated in a while... but there's just not a whole lot going on here, Twin Peaks-wise. I guess the only new thing is that Laura Palmer's (series) house just went up for sale, again. See the details HERE.
I did find where they shot the FBI office scenes from FWWM...however, the building was torn down years ago and a new apartment building was built in its place. I'll take pictures soon and post them just for fun. In my quest to locate the safety deposit box office from the pilot, I found out that the place where it was shot has been completely gut-renovated. Another one bites the dust. Well, I'll keep on truckin' and I'll keep you updated on any new stuff!

NEW LOCATIONS POSTED! CALHOUN MEMORIAL INTERIORS
, FAT TROUT TRAILER PARK, THERESA'S BODY SPOT, LAURA'S BODY FLOATS, AUDREY'S SHOE SPOT (yes, I'm a geek), THE NECKLACE BURIAL SPOT and last but not least, CREDIT'S RIVER!

IMPROMPTU TRIP TO TWIN PEAKS 01/23/10
Drove over to Snoqualmie/North Bend today for a hike up to Rattlesnake Ridge. Got lost and couldn't find the damn trailhead.
Went to Twin Peaks instead...It was raining anyway!

01/22/10 MORE LOCATIONS NEXT WEEK
Next week comes the dawn of an explosive Twin Peaks location hunting combo: Me and Brad D. of Brad D. Studios and T.P. location finding fame! Though there's not much left to find, we're gonna do our best to track down what's left! Also, expect 2010 photo updates of some of your most beloved locations like the Sign Spot, the Sheriff's Department, Ronette's Bridge, the Bookhouse, Roadhouse and more. I'll bring you all the updates right here on this page, so check in frequently starting next Friday and don't forget to check out all the amazing stuff on Brad D.'s site HERE.

RANDOM TWIN PEAKSY IPHONE SHOTS 01/19/10

CALHOUN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, EXTERIOR 01/15/10
Holy shit! I finally fucking found it!!!! I've been searching for this location for over 10 years! Today, the mystery is solved. It's the Highline Medical Center in Tukwila, WA. Who would've thought it'd be all the way down there, for crying out loud?! Random. Anyway, here it is folks, in all its amazing Twin Peaksy glory! More info HERE

ROADHOUSE INTERIOR 01/11/10
Finally got to photograph the place they used as the interior of the Roadhouse in the pilot! Amazing. More on this HERE and HERE.

SALISH LODGE FURNITURE SALE 01/07/10
How's this for an ironic (and amazing!) coincidence... I happened to be looking on craigslist.com the other day for some furniture for our new Seattle apartment and I came across a listing for the the sale of the pre-renovation furniture from the Salish Lodge! Yet another reason why it's AWESOME to be living out here! Photos of some items I picked up at the sale, below.

HORNE'S DEPARTMENT STORE 01/04/10
The renovation is nearly complete. Two stories have been added to the building, the green awnings removed, and the wooden door replaced. Other than that, the place looks pretty much the same. More on this HERE.

DOUBLE R DINER 01/01/10
When the town of North Bend, WA has gone to bed, the RR parking lot is clear and the neon lights blaze through the dark empty night, it's easy to imagine that Shelly just finished her shift and got a ride home with Heidi. Norma's inside cleaning up and closing down after a long day.

BACK ROADS 01/01/10
Alright, here's another incredible thing that I get to do now that I'm living here: I can drive down the dark country roads of Twin Peaks at night! There's nothing quite like the feeling (or more Twin Peaksy!) you get when you see your high-beams moving along the back roads and through the Douglas fir trees. Give me a doughnut!

SNOQUALMIE 12/31/09
On New Years Eve this year I was lucky enough to have stayed at the newly renovated & lovely Salish Lodge (Great Northern exterior). Below, photos I took around the hotel.
