When researching a location, I always try my best to learn a bit about its history. As I stalk the internet for details, I often come across fascinating historical photographs of some of the spots from the series. Many of the old photographs I've collected are of the actual locations used in Twin Peaks, others are just vintage photos of the Snoqualmie Valley, North Bend and nearby areas. I just love looking at these photos and picturing them as part of Twin Peaks' history: The Horne family's humble beginnings, the Packard Sawmill and its workers before Catherine or Pete were even born! The Double R Diner before Norma bought it, the old railroad tracks long before a horrific murder was perpetrated on them and a terrified girl walked across that once covered trestle bridge...
