LONG TIME, NO SEE...
Finally saw The Missing Pieces yesterday...I know, crazy, but I don't have a blu-ray player. Anyway, I couldn't wait to find this little gem -the location of The Pink Room!!! Well, I noticed the sign for "Bremmeyer Logging" above the garage so I googled it up till I found it. It's located in Ravensdale, WA, a bit of a distance from most of the other FFWM locations. I woke up early and headed out to photograph it this morning. You'll no doubt notice that like so many other TP locations, it's been remodeled to an almost unrecognizable state, but you can tell the bones are there. I also posted a sign spot and falls pic from this morning. Anyway, I'm back y'all! We're going to have so much fun finding all the new spots for the 2016 revival!

DID YOU KNOW?...
That all scenes in FWWM taking place on the Palmer's second floor (bedrooms) were shot on sets? For the pilot they filmed inside the actual second floor bedroom, but for the film they built sets as they needed more space to accommodate camera, lighting and crew for the extended scenes inside Laura's room. Can you spot some of the differences?

08-08-2011 RECENT PHOTOS FROM TWIN PEAKS
This past weekend was my first time attending the Twin Peaks Fest. It was truly amazing. How could it not be? Sheryl Lee was there, Sherilyn Fenn, Lenny Von Dohlen, Phoebe Augustine, Jan D'Arcy and surprise gust Ray Wise! I was so occupied in my awe of the weekend that I didn't take many photos. Fail. Here are a few from day one.

Second in the "Notes of Twin Peaks" series, this shirt features the note Audrey slips under Agent Cooper's door before she heads off to One Eyed Jack's. Click photos below to purchase.

"MEET ME AT THE ROADHOUSE" T-SHIRT NOW FOR SALE OVER AT THE INTWINPEAKS STORE!
First in the "Notes of Twin Peaks" t-shirt series, this tee features the note James asks Big Ed to give to Donna in the pilot, sparking a series of events which lead to the burial of Laura's half-heart necklace.

07-12-11 CHECK OUT MY SISTER SITE, TIMBER FALLS: AN EXPLORATION OF THE TWIN PEAKS MOOD

Lately I’ve been sort of sad that I’m more or less tapped out on finding new locations. I needed a place to unload all my daily Twin Peaks longings and obsessions. I wanted to create a place to go whenever you need to feel that Twin Peaks feeling and dream a little bit. So basically you can find lots of TP themed photos on Timber Falls. It’s a real mix: there are more of my location shots that didn’t make it to intwinpeaks.com. You’ll see pics from various TP press materials, other fans' photos and TP related stuff found on the web. I’ve included re-imaginings of locations, wild extrapolations, my love of the Pacific Northwest, etc, etc…I hope you enjoy it!
06-30-11 THE CARS OF TWIN PEAKS!
For those of you who thought there was nothing new to obsess over...
I've compiled a pretty good listing of car models used in the series and FWWM. Check it out over in the miscellaneous section,HERE!

06-20-11 SO FAR THIS SUMMER
It's summertime in Twin Peaks, folks. You know what that means...Fire Walk With Me style sun and the very exciting, upcoming Twin Peaks Fest in August! BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW! Here are some photos I took a few days ago. From top left: The Great Northern Hotel, Falls, The Roadhouse, Pilot nighttime bridge, Fat Trout Trailer Park (of which there's nothing left), Welcome to Twin Peaks sign spot.

04-12-11 ALL NEW PHOTOS OF LAURA PALMER'S HOUSE!
Here are several very recent photographs of the house used as the exterior of the Palmer residence in the series. The house is now vacant which provided me ample opportunity to explore the property and snap as many photos as I wanted. This was beyond exciting as this is by far my favorite location from the show. I only wish I could buy it! Below, you'll see photos of Laura's bedroom windows from inside the upper floor of the garage, never before seen pictures of Sarah and Leland's bedroom windows, the second floor deck off their bedroom which looks over the backyard and garage and the basement door in the back of the house. I live for this shit, people. P.S. How much better would it have been if they'd used THIS house for the exterior in FWWM!? Man!

04-06-11 UPDATES FROM CALIFORNIA TWIN PEAKS LOCATIONS
As promised, here are a few more photos from my recent trip to California. I was so pleased that it was cloudy on the day I went out to shoot these spots. I finally got to see some of the LA locations looking more like they would have looked in Washington State. Very cool.1. Road that Truman, Hawk, Cooper and Albert walk along. 2.Glastonberry Grove 3. Pond where Donna waits for James. 4. Road Donna walks down crying after she finds out about the murder.

04-03-11 BACK FROM CALIFORNIA WITH THE BRIGGS/COOPER CAMPSITE LOCATION!
Just got back from LA where I finally found Cooper and Briggs' campsite! (as well as updated pics of previously found spots which I'll post soon) It was right there in front of me the whole damn time, but it took one more trip out there for it to click. It was shot in the same exact place as Donna and James' picnic scene, but from a different angle. The tree that D&J are sitting under is the same tree Cooper takes a leak on. For more pics, click HERE.

01-17-11 AN UNUSUALLY SUNNY WINTER DAY IN TWIN PEAKS
1 Great Northern Hotel 2. Double R Diner 3. Twin Peaks sign spot 4. Ronette's bridge 5. Roadhouse 6. Big Ed's Gas Farm 7. Donna's station wagon spot 8. Hurley residence 9. Laura and Bobby's drug deal path 10. Wind River

01-10-11 R.I.P. FAT TROUT TRAILER PARK
It's a sad day. The trailer park used as the Fat Trout in Fire Walk With Me has been razed. Gone. Kaput. We will miss you. Goodbye.

01-05-11 FINALLY! INSIDE THE SHERIFF'S STATION!
A beloved Twin Peaks filming location, the Sheriff's Department, has been sold and remodeled. The change of ownership created a window of opportunity for me to finally see inside the building after nearly 10 years of trying. The building, which was once the office for the Weyerhaeuser mill in Snoqualmie, WA now houses the Dirtfish Rally School. Some of the more obvious changes to the building are the fresh paint inside and out, the installation of new front doors and some of the interior walls were torn down to create a larger lobby area. Sadly, the statue out front was removed, but is in safe hands back with Weyerhaeuser. I must say that despite some of the more serious changes the building has undergone, I'm glad that it's being used and cared for rather than facing the wrecking ball. Inside, there are a few interesting T.P. parallels: They took out the second set of lobby doors as they did in episode 1 of the series and there's a rack of new shoes in one of the rooms, a la One Armed Man shoe sale scene. The good news is that (though it's been enlarged) Lucy's office is intact and they left the original wood panelling on the walls. Check out some of my photos of the sheriff's station, below. Click HERE for more side by side comparisons.

02-26-10 RARE TWIN PEAKS LOCATION SCOUTING PHOTOGRAPHS FROM 1990!
These must've been from when they sent a camera crew back to Washington State for exteriors after the network picked up the series. I'm so curious about the burned down shack. What might it have been used for? And you may recognize the Snoqualmie Train Station from Cooper's real estate adventures. So cool. Many thanks to PackardSawmill for posting these on DUGPA!

12-12-10 TWIN PEAKS, THIS WINTER.
Everything's intact. I've heard that the Sheriff's Department has received a really bad paint job that ruins everything, but haven't had a chance to go down there to check for myself. I'm hoping for the best. The falls and hotel feel very much the same as ever except for the construction they're doing at the top of the falls. Hopefully it'll look okay when they're done. Double R: No changes since last update. Hurley residence: fresh paint job and possibly for sale! Here's your chance people. Get those drape runners up by nightfall!

11-23-10 A VERY PEAKSY VACATION...OR DARE I SAY, HONEYMOON?!
Ever feel like spending a cozy weekend at Jacques' cabin? Well if the answer's yes, then get your fingers tapping and book your reservation at the Twin Tree Cabins in Idyllwild, CA. I recently ran across these photos of the resort and I couldn't believe how much they looked like Twin Peaks locations. I mean, the Log Lady-esque cabins, the rock path, the Jacques-y woods, the Great Northernish bedrooms...the propane tank! All of this just a short 3.5 hour drive from the Los Angeles filming locations. Don't forget to bring the red curtains.

11-15-10 THE PALMER HOUSE AND THE HAYWARD HOUSE, TODAY
I headed over to Everett, WA today to get new photos of the Palmer and Hayward houses. Not much has changed about them in the past 20 years...well, except for the big trees that were cut down outside the Hayward house. Anyway, as you may remember, I have big issues with the fact that they used the Everett, WA (giant suburb) exterior for the Palmer house in Fire Walk With Me. I'll spare you the rehashing of all my gripes, but just check out the picture of the side of the house (the side Laura's bedroom was on.) There are neighbors literally eight damn feet away! AND more neighbors right behind the house! SPOILER ALERT! Surely they would have heard Maddy screaming bloody murder. AND there are no woods! Ugh.

11-11-10 THE GREEN BUTT SKUNK: IT'S REAL!

An amazingly thoughtful friend of mine at work tracked down this gem whilst browsing at a local tackle shop here in Washington State. He asked the dude behind the counter "Does the term Green Butt Skunk mean anything to you?" The answer was yes and the rest is Twin Peaks geek history! Thanks for this great gift, Steve! For those of you who may have forgotten, the famed Green Butt Sunk appears in episode 17 when (right before giving him the Bookhouse Boy patch) Truman lovingly presents it to Agent Cooper, further solidifying their steamy bromance. BELOW: A screen capture from the Green Butt Skunk scene followed by a photo of my own brand new Green Butt Skunk!
11-02-10 ...AND THE WINNERS OF THE BEST TWIN PEAKS THEMED HALLOWEEN COSTUMES OF 2010 ARE:

RECENT PHOTOS
1. View of the Fat Trout Trailer Park from Meadowbrook Bridge 2. Twin Peaks sign spot 3. Si View Yes! sign...What does it mean? 4. Meadowbrook Bridge (from the pilot when Coop and Truman follow Donna and Joey) 5. Double R Diner sign turned off 6. Great Northern Hotel

09-15-10 CORRECTION: THE REAL BRIDGE THAT TRUMAN AND COOP FOLLOW DONNA AND JOEY PAULSON OVER

So here's the deal: I could never figure out which bridge this was. I finally gave up and settled on the bridge that's right before the Salish Lodge (Great Northern) because it seemed to line up with the shot from the pilot. Turns out I was totally wrong. This mystery drove me nuts for years (because I'm a total nerd) and all the while it was sitting right there in front of me! So, it's the bridge on Meadowbrook Way next to Theresa Banks' trailer park in Snoqualmie, WA. Over the years, I often wondered if this was the right bridge, but it didn't match up for me because I was looking at it the wrong way. Anyway, angel-person and fellow locations enthusiast (and lucky Snoqualmie resident) Rob, contacted me when he saw my ugly and embarrassing mistake here on the site. He pointed out that the same road, complete with the same weight limit sign, appeared in FWWM in the Mo's Motor scene. Holy crap, Rob! Now that's attention to detail! Several years ago the road was redone, the bridge was moved slightly, received a face-lift and got its very own traffic light...but if you're ever there in the dead of night, stop your car, turn off the headlights and you can almost see the sheriff's Bronco crossing in pursuit of Joey's Harley. Give me a doughnut!

07-13-10 ROAD AND BRIDGE FROM THE PILOT! SNOQUALMIE, WA WRONG! WILL UPDATE LATER

06-15-10 OMG SHERILYN FENN WON'T BE AT THIS YEAR'S TWIN PEAKS FEST!!! (IN THE END SHE WENT...HOORAY!)

2010 TWIN PEAKS FEST AND PILOT SCREENING IN SEATTLE!
This is a very special year, folks. It's the 20th Anniversary of our favorite thing ever, Twin Peaks! What better way to celebrate our undying love of that small town than by attending this year's festival in the Snoqualmie Valley, the real Twin Peaks?! The line-up at this year's fest is uh-may-zing, with celebrity guests: Kimmy Robertson, Charlotte Stewart, Michael J. Anderson and Jennifer Lynch. Also, catch a screening of the pilot (ON FILM!) during the fest's movie night at the Seattle Art Museum! OMFG, have I died and gone to pie heaven!? Click photos below for details!

05-15-10 PALMER AND HAYWARD HOUSES, RIGHT NOW.
Made a quick run to the Palmer house (exterior from FWWM) and the Hayward house to snap some current photos. Palmer house is exactly the same. The Hayward house owners had the misfortune of loosing those two giant old trees that were out on the sidewalk. The trees used to nicely shade the house. Sad. There are two new saplings in their place, so that's good. I love these houses!

5-12-10 LAURA AND BOBBY'S DRUG DEAL SPOTDrove out to Ollalie State Park where they filmed Laura and Bobby's drug deal, Laura giving the finger to James, Deer Meadow and Theresa Banks' body floating scenes for FWWM. Finally found exactly where they shot the Laura and Bobby scene. Psyched. Man, it's such a beautiful park. I gotta go back on a day that's not so sunny and get the perfect angle –and before those stumps completely rot! Anyway, more info on this spot HERE

04-27-10 HYDROPONICS, PAINT JOBS AND A BLUE DIAMOND BIKE! A DAY IN TWIN PEAKS.
Okay I'll start where I started... Drove into Fall City to have a look at Big Ed's. Its most recent incarnation: A hydroponic plant and lighting shop. Uh, random. Walked next door to check out the Hurley house and saw that it got a nice new paint job. Stared into the open window for a bit until I started to feel like a creep. Took a few pictures. Left.

Headed over to the Briggs' house (which has a giant wooden fence around it) and snuck this photo of the side yard/entry. I actually knocked on the door to ask, but no one was home. Anyway, there was a car in the driveway with military bumper stickers and paraphernalia galore, plus there were military stickers stuck on some of the house windows. Very Briggs-ish.

Ate breakfast at the recently renovated and reopened Roadhouse. Tomato, chipotle benedict. Delish! Went over to the Mt. Si Motel (a.k.a. Blue Diamond Motel) and asked if I could buy the bike that was in the shot behind Theresa Banks in FWWM. It's been there for nearly 20 years! The awesome owners, Marlo (mom) and Sonya(daughter) agreed to sell me the bike. How awesome is THAT!?

That's me up there on the bike. Then I drove over to Wind River and took a nice walk in the woods. Here's a pic of the water you see in the Cooper scene in FWWM, followed by a shot of the Wind River Sheriff's Station.

04-09-10 SPRING HAS SPRUNG IN TWIN PEAKS!

04-08-10 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TWIN PEAKS!
Check out Jerry Horne's generous and AMAZING unreleased Twin Peaks music over at the TWIN PEAKS ARCHIVE!

03-30-10 FBI OFFICES FROM FWWM FOUND!...well, sort of.
Click HERE for more photos and info!

03-26-10 So, I know I haven't updated in a while... but there's just not a whole lot going on here, Twin Peaks-wise. I guess the only new thing is that Laura Palmer's (series) house just went up for sale, again. See the details HERE.
I did find where they shot the FBI office scenes from FWWM...however, the building was torn down years ago and a new apartment building was built in its place. I'll take pictures soon and post them just for fun. In my quest to locate the safety deposit box office from the pilot, I found out that the place where it was shot has been completely gut-renovated. Another one bites the dust. Well, I'll keep on truckin' and I'll keep you updated on any new stuff!
NEW LOCATIONS POSTED! CALHOUN MEMORIAL INTERIORS
, FAT TROUT TRAILER PARK, THERESA'S BODY SPOT, LAURA'S BODY FLOATS, AUDREY'S SHOE SPOT (yes, I'm a geek), THE NECKLACE BURIAL SPOT and last but not least, CREDIT'S RIVER!

IMPROMPTU TRIP TO TWIN PEAKS 01/23/10Drove over to Snoqualmie/North Bend today for a hike up to Rattlesnake Ridge. Got lost and couldn't find the damn trailhead.
Went to Twin Peaks instead...It was raining anyway!

RANDOM TWIN PEAKSY IPHONE SHOTS 01/19/10

CALHOUN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, EXTERIOR 01/15/10
Holy shit! I finally fucking found it!!!! I've been searching for this location for over 10 years! Today, the mystery is solved. It's the Highline Medical Center in Tukwila, WA. Who would've thought it'd be all the way down there, for crying out loud?! Random. Anyway, here it is folks, in all its amazing Twin Peaksy glory! More info HERE

ROADHOUSE INTERIOR 01/11/10
Finally got to photograph the place they used as the interior of the Roadhouse in the pilot! Amazing. More on this HERE and HERE.

SALISH LODGE FURNITURE SALE 01/07/10How's this for an ironic (and amazing!) coincidence... I happened to be looking on craigslist.com the other day for some furniture for our new Seattle apartment and I came across a listing for the the sale of the pre-renovation furniture from the Salish Lodge! Yet another reason why it's AWESOME to be living out here! Photos of some items I picked up at the sale, below.

HORNE'S DEPARTMENT STORE 01/04/10The renovation is nearly complete. Two stories have been added to the building, the green awnings removed, and the wooden door replaced. Other than that, the place looks pretty much the same. More on this HERE.

DOUBLE R DINER 01/01/10
When the town of North Bend, WA has gone to bed, the RR parking lot is clear and the neon lights blaze through the dark empty night, it's easy to imagine that Shelly just finished her shift and got a ride home with Heidi. Norma's inside cleaning up and closing down after a long day.

BACK ROADS 01/01/10
Alright, here's another incredible thing that I get to do now that I'm living here: I can drive down the dark country roads of Twin Peaks at night! There's nothing quite like the feeling (or more Twin Peaksy!) you get when you see your high-beams moving along the back roads and through the Douglas fir trees. Give me a doughnut!

SNOQUALMIE 12/31/09
On New Years Eve this year I was lucky enough to have stayed at the newly renovated & lovely Salish Lodge (Great Northern exterior). Below, photos I took around the hotel.
